Bran, the Druid Orc
 
Among the orcs of the Grayfang Mountains, strength is measured by size, hunger, and the roar of battle. They dwell at the feet of ancient peaks, carving their homes into the rock and feasting on the beasts of the mountains. Born into this brutal world, Bran was different from the start.
 
Though of orcish blood, Bran was never like his kin. Where others hungered for meat and might, he felt the quiet pull of the earth and the gentle whisper of the wind. Even as a youngling, animals flocked to him, and the trees seemed to lean just a little closer when he passed. His connection to nature was a gift and a curse. The elders called him odd. The clan, fearing what they did not understand, cast him out.
 
Alone but unbroken, Bran wandered the mountain forests, growing stronger not through violence like the others, but through harmony. He formed a bond with a great moose, a gentle guardian who became his only companion during his youth. Years passed, and time claimed the old beast. Bran mourned deeply, taking the moose’s pelt and part of his antlers not as trophies, but as sacred reminders of love, loss, and the cruelty that even nature can bear.
 
Now a fully grown druid, Bran is still substantially smaller than his kin, but far wiser. Where they use brute force, he commands the will of nature. Vines obey him. Storms listen. Beasts and creatures rally to him. With him travel two companions, Moss, a curious young sloth he rescued from a hunter's snare, and Chirp, a bright-eyed little bird who never leaves his side.
Bran walks the border between wild and civilized, never truly at home in either world. But in the rustle of leaves, the cry of distant wolves, the steady breath of the wind, he is never alone.
